If you're having trouble finding an appointment to get your COVID booster shot, you're not alone.
Appointments are proving to be more difficult to come by across the region.
Last winter was the last time News 12 reported about the challenges of scoring an appointment. That was due to supply issues - now the problem is the sudden demand.
So where can you get a shot?
Well, many chain pharmacies like CVS, Walgreens and Rite Aid are booked until the end of the month or mid-January.
But local pharmacies like Grassy Sprain in Yonkers are extending their hours just to accommodate the steep demand.
Here are a few other local spots that either welcome walk-ins or have appointments available - for now.
In Yonkers, Map Pharmacy on North Broadway, Value Plus Pharmacy on Tuckahoe Road and
The New York National Guard Armory on Quincy Place have availability.
Grace Baptist Church in Mount Vernon will also open as a pop-up clinic on Sunday between 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.
