A state trooper is recovering after a car slammed into his cruiser in Monroe.
Police said it happened Monday night while the trooper's vehicle was parked on Seven Springs Mountain Road.
The trooper was taken to Westchester Medical Center and is expected to be OK.
The owner of the other car was not hurt. Police said they are investigating what caused the crash.
