Some tree farms are experiencing shortages this season due to changes in the industry and dry weather.
Because of hot, dry conditions in parts of the U.S., a lot of the growers did not get a whole lot of growth, especially in the crucial months of May and June when trees need to be growing.
Christmas trees take several years to grow to the ideal height for customers.
