State police have now identified the victim involved in a single-car accident in Orange County.

Authorities reported the Sunday incident on I-84 Westbound in the town of Greenville around 2:30 a.m.

Troopers discovered a damaged car off the roadway.

The driver, identified as the sole occupant, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victim has been named as 34-year-old Christopher Martini from Pennsylvania.

The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to determine the cause of the crash.
