Awosting Road on County Road 109-A will be closed in the town of Shawangunk starting today.

It'll start immediately at the intersection of County Road 109-A and Sheldon Road.

County officials say it's for culvert deck replacement work. The road is expected to be closed for about two to four weeks.

In the meantime, county officials recommend using Mountain Road and Jansen Road as detours.
