A tractor-trailer carrying granite stones overturned on the southbound Thruway in Rockland County, caused significant delays during the morning commute.

The accident occurred at Exit 14 in Spring Valley, resulting in a five-mile backup. Two lanes remain closed as heavy-duty tow trucks worked to upright the vehicle.

According to state police, the driver sustained minor injuries.
