If you are hoping for snow next week across the Hudson Valley to be paired with the colder stretch of weather about to move in, I would not get your hopes up for anything substantial snow-wise!
While there will be an area of low pressure with snow and ice passing to the south on Monday, this is a situation where the Hudson Valley will be on the outer fringes of this one and may just pick up some periods of mostly light snow.
There are two possible tracks we are watching. The first is the more northerly solution which could bring a coating to a couple of inches of snow to the Hudson Valley. The second solution is one a bit more south which would be drier and keep clouds and flurries at best in the forecast for the Hudson Valley on Monday.
We are still a few days away from this light snow chance and while nothing major is likely locally for the Hudson Valley, check back with News 12 frequently over the next few days for better details on our exact local impacts as they become clearer.
