A local charity that collects donations and toys helped 200 children celebrate the holidays at Oheka Castle on Tuesday.
Toys For Hope picked children who would not normally get to experience the joy of the holiday season by throwing them a party with music, dancing, costumed characters and a bouncy house.
The lucky youths even got to take their photo with Santa, who also had a bag filled with toys.
Organizers said they wanted to give the kids a day they would never forget.
"It's not just a handout. They're not just handed a toy," said Melissa Doktofsky of Toys of Hope. "We get them brand-new clothes, new toys and household items, they get brand-new things so they can start their lives over and put that troubled past in the past."
Organizers also say they put on the event because they enjoy seeing the smiles on the children's faces.
Anyone who would like to help Toys of Hope with donations of new toys for children and gift cards for homeless teens can visit their website.
