An award-winning actress who has starred on Broadway and the big screen is taking the stage in Westchester this weekend.
Laura Benanti is performing at the White Plains Performing Arts Center for one night only on Saturday.
The Tony winner's most recent roles include "Worth" on Netflix and Lin-Manuel Miranda's film "Tick, Tick Boom."
She tells News 12 that her show this weekend will include songs from throughout her career and touch on all different genres from jazz to comedy.
"Every review I've ever had says it's standup comedy in music, and that's what it is. It's me telling ridiculous stories that are mostly embarrassing. Talking about my children, my life and my family. Then singing songs. I want people to feel like they're in my living room," she says.
