An iconic Orange County restaurant closed its doors on Sunday.
After 71 years, Tony Boffa's Italian Restaurant in Middletown closed because the family is retiring.
Ownership of Tony Boffa's Restaurant was passed down for four generations.
The restaurant grew from just six tables to 45.
"I am a little bit heartbroken because my mother and father started this business from scratch," said restaurant co-owner Donna Boffa-Mabee. "I will surely miss all the customers – that was the main thing, pleasing people all these years. I will truly miss feeling that."
