We're gonna send it over to thunder 12 where VJ is out near New Rochelle. VJ. What are you seeing? Yes, we just got out of thunderbolt because we're here in New Rochelle and look, this is New Shell DPW. You can see the workers there and they are clearing that drain. Maybe, you know, a culvert area here because this is in the Pine Brook area of New Rochelle. And if you look right here, you can see the water already kind of flowing much faster now that they're removing all of that debris. You see it's different small limbs and things like that. And if you turn over here, this is Pine Brook Boulevard and you can kind of see, like, look, I'll walk over there, there are some trees or, you know, pieces of trees right here in the road. And you can imagine kind of what happened even though there's no water here anymore, Pine Brook over here, you know, the body of water, it came over here and water in this whole area leaving all of these cars just stranded in the middle. It looks kind of apocalyptic. They're just stranded there in the middle of the road, but you can see tow trucks here. And actually, if you do kind of like a 360 over here, you can see there's a DPW truck kind of blocking the area off and some caution tape. So that's what happened here. Now. It's just, you know, everyone's cleaning up and hopefully this won't happen again here because there's no rain right now. But we know we are expecting some at some point. So I see they're working hard, they're clearing that area and we will keep you updated on what happens around here as they try to clean up before the next bit of rain. Back to you guys.

Send it over to VJ. Now, who is in new show with the latest? What can you tell us? Yes, we're driving around downtown right now and it's been tough on New Rochelle. I mean, I know it's been tough on a lot of our areas but New Rochelle just by the numbers has gotten some of the most rain. You know, things look normal downtown here right now while there isn't as much rain, but we're kind of on stand by. We know already there's been a lot of clean up and there's going to be even more, you know, throughout the weekend, we were on a road earlier in the Pine Brook area on Pine Brook Boulevard where cars were just stranded, left behind by people because the Brook kind of overflowed its banks a little bit and, you know, brought debris into the road. There were tow trucks towing them away, you know, police tape keeping that blocked off, but the water there, at least luckily had receded. We know school was dismissed here earlier today early and all also, you know, around here there's a local state of emergency that's in effect. So a lot going on here. But you can see, you know, we're parked near this Planet Fitness at the moment at this red light and you can see people are still venturing out to do their normal Friday night activities in the city. But we are waiting to see because we know it's going to rain even more. So we're on stand by for that reporting in Rochell Veronica Seltzer News 12.

Look over that bridge. You can see that fog really building up. You can barely even see the colors at us. And what are we looking at as we move into the weekend, Nikita, we're going to be finding ourselves seeing a little bit more brighter days coming our way. At least one day for Saturday. That over nothing. Right. You're right. Yeah, we definitely would like to have at least some of the weekend looking good. Saturday is going be the better of the two weekend days, Sunday. Not so much. So make your plans accordingly because here's your weekend planner as you do with mostly cloudy skies, sunny breaks out there in the afternoon. Now, it's feeling definitely mild. I think maybe just light jackets at best will be worn by a lot of people out. And about Sunday though, probably stay inside sky showers and on and off batches of moderate rain coming on down. You can see that breakdown right here with the rain moving on in very much late Saturday night, pretty much overnight in towards your Sunday. Then for Sunday night, the showers are tapering off. So your Monday morning commute should be fine. It's just, you know, we'd like to push that rain perhaps towards work and I have it on the weekend. Over the past several hours, the showers are leaving Sullivan County, Olsa County, Orange County as well. Still hanging out just east of the Hudson River, but not, thankfully not for long. We're watching this area of low pressure head up from the southern plains, head over this way where we're on the warm side of the system as the cold air is kept up across in Canada and over across the northern plains. So we're just talking about rain showers, no wintry mix to snow coming down overnight, the temperatures go down a little bit mid to upper to low forties. The light clouds around will keep the warmth around from the day and because there won't be much of a breeze around, all that moisture slowly settles down. So we'll have to talk about some patchy fog, possibly being out there throughout the overnight hours, but it should be burning away nicely past about 9 to 10 o'clock or so. Moving through your futurecast pass the night in towards the day tomorrow. Partly most of the cloudy skies in the morning hours, sun shining down around one o'clock, not bad out there. Then here comes the rain. You go on in past 9 to 10 o'clock in towards the lunchtime hour and it'll still be around towards the afternoon hours where you may be seeing pockets of moderate to heavy rain coming on down. Those showers should be wrapping on up towards the evening hours. A few straggles will linger around overnight, but we'll be enjoying a much more drier and eventually cooler time frame going through next week 50 on Monday, 42 on Tuesday and then struggling to get out of the thirties on Wednesday. Thunderbolt 12: Conditions in Yonkers

We're gonna go ahead and send things over to Veronica Jean Seltzer who has a look at how things are over towards uh where you are as of right now. Yes, Julian, I'm in Yonkers. We've been in Thunderbolt 12 all day driving around the whole county to get a look at the conditions. But we had to stop here in Yonkers to just show you this because so look at this. These are barriers blocking one of many sets of barriers, I should say blocking the entrance to the sawmill at her street here in Yonkers. But this is really what you have to see over here. I drive past this all the time for work. And if you do too, you know, there's normally water here but not like this. We are still having major issues with the Parkways in Westchester and this water you can see there's a wrong way sign there that gives you an idea of how deep this is. We have seen a car try to drive past here. They weren't supposed to be driving past here. Huge, just hydro planning lots of water everywhere. So the main message here is if you're going somewhere to night or tomorrow. The route you planned may not work. Westchester police say parts county police, they say parts of the sawmill, the lower Hutch and most of the Bronx River Parkway are still closed. They don't know when the water is going to recede down the street at Napper hand. They're trying to pump it away so this could still be an issue in the morning. So what's important to know is if you're going somewhere, check before you go reporting in Yonkers, Veronica Jean Seltzer News 12.
