And as you're out driving on the local roadways, we know it is going to be cold Christy. When do you think the temperatures are going to warm up just a little bit? I mean, as we enter into a weekend, they pick up, but that comes with some rain, unfortunately, but we see that our radar over the past six hours is showing some flurries really over across the area. But that is going to be continuing through today and tomorrow, really mostly northwestern New York and Pennsylvania are seeing the snow, but we can't rule out flurries throughout the day today as well as to tomorrow. We see it coming across and that comes with some bitterly cold temperatures across the area. And this is our, feels like versus our regular temperatures, regular temperatures on the left over here in our blue cold feels like temperatures. So what you need to know is these frigid temperatures continue. This is later in our evening tonight, around dinner time, we're seeing temperatures in the upper twenties and low thirties, but feeling like they're in the twenties, 22 in Newburgh and Poughkeepsie. And that is going to drop even more. As we head into our overnight hours, this is 1045 starting to get into the teens in some spots. Brewster seeing 17 and it's gonna be even colder for tomorrow. So you're gonna wanna keep that in mind for your commute tomorrow morning. This is 6 a.m. feeling like 16 out there. So definitely bundle up and be prepared if you're heading when you're heading out the door. And then by your afternoon, those temperatures still stay pretty cold with some wind gusts of around 20 miles an hour. And we can't rule out some accumulation really northwestern Ulster County, seeing between one and three inches, really not much and flurries passing throughout the rest of the day and we see some rain chances pick up for Friday. But with that, our temperatures are also on the rise thankfully and it's really a turnaround from today. Don't be fooled by this temperature. It's feeling like the twenties out there frigid and then a really big switch into Friday. Our temperatures jump up and some rain can return for your weekend. Let's take a look at your 10 day forecast. Now, we've got a frigid and cold Wednesday for you with some gust winds and temperatures are on the rise into the weekend with some chance for rain for your Friday and we're back to seasonable temperatures through next week.

Thunderbolt 12: Checking road conditions in Stony Point

New 12. Carol Wilkinson is out in thunderbolt 12. Carol, tell us where you are and what you're seeing right now. Well, that's right. Good evening team. We are in Stony Point. We are utilizing Thunderbolt 12 to bring our viewers the latest updates as we see them, weather wise, take a look outside. You can see the rain has pretty much let up. Thankfully. Now we are seeing a lot of emergency vehicles as you can see one passing us there on the road. We're seeing ambulances and EMTS traveling to assist people obviously in need. Now at last check here in Rockland County in Stony Point, a water rescue was underway in Stony 0.2 people trapped in a disabled pickup truck. We also want to show you some video that we recorded earlier as the heavy storms caused chaos on the roads on the Palisades Interstate Parkway. For example, traffic traffic was being diverted at exit 15 as flood waters flowed up and down the roads there and some people had their vehicles stall out after their engines flooded with water as was mentioned earlier, a chaotic scene to be sure the rain again has led up as you can see as we're traveling, we've got our windshield wipers on slow speed. So that is a welcome relief compared to all that we saw earlier today. So we again are in thunderbolt 12 traveling here in Stony Point. We will bring you the latest information as we see it.
