Thruway toll rates set to increase for E-ZPass customers in the new year

In the new year, the tolls on the New York State Thruway will increase for the first time in 14 years.
New York E-ZPass customers will see their tolls rise by 5% starting in January. Following this, E-ZPass tolls will increase another 5% in January of 2027.
Both non-E-ZPass drivers and those using toll by mail services will witness an increase to 8.6 cents per mile by 2027.
