Thousands of people participated in Making Strides Against Breast Cancer 5Ks across the Hudson Valley Sunday.
The goal is to raise money for cancer research.
Organizers also hope to raise awareness to help people reduce the risk of breast cancer.
Last year, participants raised over $1 million.
