Thousands of spectators were at Stewart International Airport Saturday for this year's New York Air Show.
They stood patiently in lines for a firsthand look at the military aircrafts.
Airmen say one of the best things about the air show is being able to share their love for what they do with the community.
"We kind of take for granted how much fun our job really is and seeing the smiles on their faces...it makes it exciting for us as well," said Captain Brian Monga.
The air show continues Sunday at Stewart International Airport.
