A rash of gun violence continued in Yonkers this week with a third shooting on Tuesday.
The most recent violence happened in broad daylight on Walnut Street, where gunfire erupted around 3 p.m. following an argument.
Police say two people were shot and taken to the hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
Investigators believe the incident was not random, as everyone involved knows each other, though the suspect remains at large with no further details released.
The week's violence began Sunday night when a man was shot in the leg on Glenwood Avenue. On Monday morning, another man was shot on Yonkers Avenue after a fight on a Bee-Line bus.
