6h agoThe Thiells Fire Department responded to a reported brush fire on Ecology Lane Monday.
Upon arrival, crews found 20-30-foot flames engulfing the brush. A brush truck and tanker were requested to the scene, and Joint Regional Sewage Co. provided a tanker truck to help knock down the bulk of the fire.
Crews then worked to extinguish hot spots and prevent the fire from spreading.
Units were on the scene for about an hour.
