With egg prices high, there are many deals being offered. But are they easy to get, and do they really save you money?

Ibotta is a free app that consumers can download and cash in on offers for certain items you buy online or in the store.

For February they are offering cashback for any egg purchase, at any store, on Fridays.

News 12's Kristie Reeter decided to test out a deal herself. She already had the app downloaded, so on Friday she checked the app and added the egg offer. She then made the purchase of eggs and made sure to get the receipt. She then took a picture of the receipt to submit the deal through the app and cashback was applied to her account.

The latest offer on eggs for $2.50 put her total cashback from the app to $434.22.
