WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:

Temps should normally be at 67 degrees this time of year. As recently as this past Saturday though, they have been trending towards the upper 70s to low 80s.

Temps tied record levels yesterday with a high of 83 degrees (record: 83 - 2017) under sunny skies and a warm breeze at White Plains.

Temps will get towards similar levels today and tomorrow as high pressure sits offshore and pushes up warmer air from the South.

The first of four consecutive supermoons will be visible tonight as the Harvest Moon (The full moon for October) rises tonight. We'll have clear skies and should be able to see it anywhere in the Hudson Valley.

A cold front will approach the region overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, increasing clouds ahead of its arrival and then bring much needed showers.

Rainfall will fall overnight into Wednesday morning, wrapping up midday.

Breezy, drier and cooler air will move in for the rest of the day with temps staying at seasonal levels to wrap up the work week.
