Teens charged for allegedly drugging, assaulting girl
Two New Rochelle teenage boys are facing charges Thursday for allegedly getting a teen girl drunk, slipping her pills and then sexually abusing her at a party in July.
Federico Alvarez and Jose Magana, both 18, were arrested Wednesday. Police say they gave the victim pills and brandy and assaulted her while she was passed out.
Police were called to the Irvington home that night after neighbors heard loud noises. At the same time, police say, the victim?s friends came to the house and ended the assault.
Both teens are charged with first-degree sexual abuse and giving alcohol to a minor. Alvarez is also charged with a criminal sex act in the first degree.
Bail was set at $25,000 each. Alvarez and Magana are in the Westchester County Jail and are due in village court Friday.
