Poughkeepsie teenager is recovering in the hospital after police say he was
shot multiple times Monday night.
The violence happened on Hooker Avenue around 10 p.m.
Police say the 17-year-old was standing on the sidewalk when gunshots rang out from inside a white sedan. The car
then took off.
Investigators recovered a handgun
nearby.
