A teenager is facing multiple felony charges after allegedly stealing a religious prayer bag in Spring Valley.
Officials say a police officer found 18-year-old Jose Villacinda-Najera on North Myrtle Avenue carrying the bag.
A man reported the item was stolen from his vehicle and valued at about $5,000.
The teen was arrested this week and charged with grand larceny and other offenses. Police have returned the bag to its owner.
