A teen who claims to be the victim of police brutality is filing a lawsuit along with his family and the NAACP against the New Rochelle Police Department.

According to Demetrius Hazelton, whose father is a New Rochelle detective, he and several friends were stopped April 13 by police in the parking lot of Bethesda Baptist Church on Lincoln Avenue.

According to a police report, Hazelton told officers his father is a detective - and then began doing impressions of comedian Dave Chappelle. Hazelton claims officers then slammed his head on a police car and threw him to the ground.
