A yoga instructor at a private school in Tarrytown pleaded not guilty Wednesday to charges he sexually abused a 16-year-old student.
Police say 28-year-old Todd Witkin admitted to kissing and inappropriately touching a high school student at the Hackley School on September 25 in the school gym. The school headmaster says Witkin came to the school with strong recommendations. Witkin?s attorney says his client never had a problem with the law before.
Witkin is charged with endangering the welfare of a child and sexual abuse, both misdemeanors. He is out on bail and is due back in court in November.
