The system outage impacted the airlines' app and website, and many complained on Twitter that their flights were temporarily grounded in response.
The company responded to users on the social media site earlier this morning saying that the airline was working on the issue and working to resolve it as quickly as possible.
United Airlines says the technical systems issues this morning impacted its operations, but has since been resolved, though the company is still working to resolve the lingering delays.
"This morning we experienced technical system issues that impacted our operations and have since been resolved," United Airlines says in a statement to News 12. "All systems are now working normally and we are working diligently to get customers to their destinations."
