An SUV driven by a woman unexpectedly accelerated into the Patrick Campbell Senior Apartments in Wallkill.

The accident occurred as the driver was attempting to back into a parking spot.

A woman inside the apartment at the time of the crash was not injured. The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.

No charges have been filed following the investigation into the crash.
