Sunshine and mild temps for the Hudson Valley rain returns this week

Fall arrives today with sunshine and temperatures to the upper 70s.

Fall arrives, and Mother Nature welcomes it with sunshine and temperatures in the mid to upper 70s.
A dry start to fall but grab the umbrellas tomorrow because the threat of rain starts Tuesday and last into the weekend.
Showers are possible over the next several days as unsettled weather arrives.
A slow moving front stalls in the area so while you might be able to escape the need for an umbrella tomorrow and Wednesday, by Thursday you'll most certainly want to have your rain gear ready.
The low pressure system effects our area with the greatest amount of rain on Thursday.
Computer models are suggesting that it lingers into the weekend but experience has taught me to hold back forecasting such a dreary future. Stay tuned. Today: Sun & clouds: Highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Tomorrow: Partly Sunny. Slight chance of afternoon showers. High 81.

Thursday: Rain with the threat of a few thunderstorms. Cooler. High 70.
Friday: Sun & clouds. Chance of rain. High 74.
