Sunrise Day Camp in Pearl River is helping kids with cancer enjoy their summer.
More than 200 children from the Tri-State Area take part in Sunrise, and the number of campers signing up has doubled since last year. Siblings of campers with cancer are allowed to attend as well.
Staff members say the opportunity allows kids to experience something positive amid all the troubles they face on a daily basis.
