Sunday marked the last day of early voting before Tuesday's primary elections in New York.

New York had launched early voting on June 13, marking the first time it was was ever offered in a primary in the state.

It allowed voters to cast ballots at select polling locations under a law that passed last year, when the state joined 38 others with some form of early voting.

The state this year also sent every registered voter a postage-paid application for an absentee to allow all New Yorkers to vote absentee due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, there have been some complaints of absentee ballots containing the wrong information.

Polls were open Sunday from noon to 5 p.m. for the last day of early voting. Then there's one day off ahead of Tuesday's primary, on June 23.
