Brighter skies are in the forecast with nice sunshine expected through the weekend.
It turns a little bit warmer on Long Island with highs near 70 degrees through Friday. Saturday will be the warmest day of the week with highs in the mid to upper 70s.
A cold front passes by during the day to bring in cooler weather for early next week.
Get ready for a little fall chill by Tuesday. The next chance for rain comes on Monday but any rain looks to be on the light side while the dry weather pattern continues.
