2ds agoA Monticello man has been sentenced to nine years in prison for possessing over two ounces of fentanyl with intent to sell.
Jacob McCoy was convicted of trafficking the deadly opioid.
Last May, he was accused of selling fentanyl that killed a 16-month-old child exposed to the drug in a Liberty motel room.
Upon release, McCoy will serve two years of supervision.
