Suffern DPW crews worked hard to clear snow from the streets following Saturday's snowstorm.
Neighborhoods with narrow roads and high-density housing, like Squires Gate, created hazardous conditions and were particularly challenging for the DPW to clear, according to officials.
Crews have also been working to clear the way for emergency vehicles.
Suffern Mayor Ed Markunas said they were able to plow one lane in the Squires Gate area during the storm. On Monday, they banned cars from parking on the streets so crews could work on removing snow.
