Study: I-95 named as one of the deadliest interstates in US

A new study found that I-95 - which runs through Hudson Valley - is one of the deadliest interstates in the United States.
Insurance comparison site Zebra analyzed the most recent data from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

The results showed that I-95, otherwise known as the New England Thruway, has more average fatalities per mile than any other highway in the country at 14.88 deaths per 100 miles.

The highway also had the highest number of overall fatalities of any single roadway in 2019, with 284 recorded deaths.
