New numbers show many public school teachers are working more than one job during the school year.

A new Gallup survey released Monday says about 71% of teachers reported having at least one side gig.

More than half said they are just getting by on their regular income.

The findings also show teachers earn about 27% less than other workers with similar levels of education.
