Some of Westchester's top college minds gathered in person for the first time in three years to present their research at the Iona College Scholars Day.
The 13th annual event showcased faculty-mentored student work across all the college's disciplines, including science, art and politics.
More than 200 students have spent years pursuing their passions and got a chance to have their interests celebrated.
"It's very different because in virtual, I feel like a lot of people don't get the same education or the same information. But when you're in-person, everyone can ask you questions and it's more interactive," said Iona senior Escarlin Perez.
Scholars Day is part of the Iona Month of Excellence which includes performances, lectures, and alumni talks this April.
