The Wappingers Central School District is showing its support for local first responders in celebration of Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.
Thursday, students made thank you cards and colored badges for the Poughkeepsie Police Department. Other schools in the district also sent cards and a poster to police headquarters to express their appreciation.
