Students at Manhattanville College in Purchase held a "Rally for Justice" Wednesday in memory of slain teen Michael Brown.
Brown, 18, was shot and killed by a police officer nearly three weeks ago in Ferguson, Missouri. The death set off numerous demonstrations and protests against police brutality around the country.
About 45 students and faculty members took part in the rally. The event was organized by student Keana Outlar, who says she felt she had to do something in memory of Brown and others she says are mistreated based on race or ethnicity.
