New Yorkers who are struggling to pay heating bills will be able to apply for state assistance starting next week.

Eligible New Yorkers can apply for the low-income Energy Assistance Program beginning Nov. 1.

Grants are available through your local Department of Social Services and at Offices for the Aging.

The amount of assistance depends on family income and size guidelines.
