Stranger Things actress Nell Fisher spotted at Hudson Valley restaurant
A young fan recognized the actress who plays Holly Wheeler on Netflix’s hit series Stranger Things while dining at Painter's Tavern in Cornwall-on-Hudson.

A New Windsor family got an unexpected surprise Friday night when they spotted actress Nell Fisher, who plays Holly Wheeler on Netflix’s hit series “Stranger Things,” while dining in Cornwall-on-Hudson.
Rebecca Lopez said she, her daughter Evangelina “Eva” Lopez and their family were at Painter’s Tavern around 6:50 p.m. when Eva immediately recognized Fisher.
“We didn’t think it was her and told her it wasn’t,” Lopez said.
But Eva persisted, insisting the actress was sitting nearby.
As Fisher was leaving the restaurant, Lopez said she approached her and asked if she was the actress from “Stranger Things.”
“She confirmed it was her and took a photo with Eva,” Lopez said. “She was very sweet.”
The Lopez family, who describe themselves as huge “Stranger Things” fans, said they were thrilled by the unexpected encounter.
It is unclear what brought Fisher to the Hudson Valley.
