Nearly 100 Manhattanville College students quarantine to prepare for on-campus learning

Nearly 100 Manhattanville College students from states on New York's travel advisory list are currently in quarantine, just weeks before on-camping learning begins.
Twenty-nine of those students are staying in self-contained rooms on campus.
News 12 is told students are given three meals a day, and each room has its own bathroom to minimize outside contact.
School officials have also put together a two-week quarantine program, which includes virtual fitness classes, meditation, and both physical and mental health checks.
Some students will also begin their first week of classes online before returning to campus with their classmates.
A school poll found around 60 % of Manhattanville students say they prefer to return to campus for in-person learning this fall, with safety precautions like socially distanced classes, mask requirements and added ventilation.
