Police have released the identity of the person killed in a hit-and-run on Christmas Eve in Stony Point.
They say Maria Osai, 35, was crossing Route 9W when she was hit by an SUV.
Police say Jorge Flores-Villalba, of Haverstraw, was the driver that took off.
Osai was pronounced dead at the scene.
Flores-Villalba was charged with leaving the scene of a fatal accident and was released. He is due back in court Jan. 9.
