A Merrick teacher is accused of using a stolen debit card to make purchases.
Court records say Darcy Restivo stole the debit card while at Lakeside Elementary last month. The card had not been issued by the district.
Officials say Restivo, of East Rockaway, used it to make $535 worth of purchases.
Restivo pleaded not guilty earlier this week and is due back in court on Friday.
