An alert was sent to students and faculty at Monroe College Saturday after a possible exposure to measles.
The college was notified by New York City's Department of Health that a student was diagnosed with measles. As a result, the college is looking for anyone who's been exposed.
Officials say the student attends classes in the Bronx, but came up to New Rochelle Tuesday to attend a basketball game.
The Westchester and New York City Health Departments are monitoring the situation. College officials say their campuses are safe and classes will resume as scheduled Monday.
They say the student is doing well and is recovering at home. The students won't be allowed to return until cleared to do so by the Health Department.
