News 12 Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Meredith Garofalo says a wintry mix will wrap in the overnight hours ahead of the Monday morning commute in the Hudson Valley.
WHAT'S NEW:  Winter weather advisories extended and now include all of Hudson Valley north of I-287.
WHAT'S NEXT:  A general 1-3 inches with over 3 inches in parts of northern Orange, Putnam, and northward. 
FORECAST:
OVERNIGHT: Periods of wet snow wrap up during the overnight hours. Mainly rain and mix south of I-287.  Highs in the 30s, lows at or around freezing. 
MONDAY: Drying out but some flurries possible in the morning. Additional snow accumulation not expected. Highs around 39 and lows in the teens and 20s.   
TUESDAY: Mostly sunny and chilly. Highs in the 30s lows in the teens and 20s.
WEDNESDAY: Mostly sunny, brisk and chilly. Highs in the 30s, lows in the 20s. 
THURSDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH A chance of a wintry mix or snow towards late afternoon. Temperatures around 40.
FRIDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH Wintry mix or rain possible. Temperatures in the 30s to low 40s.
