A storm system is expected to bring multiple inches of snowfall to Long Island through Sunday night – 3-6 inches is expected for most of Nassau County with some areas in the North Shore possibly seeing an inch or so more. Following the snow, another blast of bitter cold air, the coldest of the season so far is expected through the week. Temperatures in the teens and low 20s, with feel-like temperatures in the single digits near zero or below. So be prepared for pipe bursting cold next week.
