NEW & NOW: Happy Monday everyone! Today is a great, sunny and quiet day overall. Tomorrow, things start to change with cloudier skies as a storm from the south pivots and grazes southern Westchester and Rockland counties. This storm is lower impact to bring MAYBE .5" to 1" of snow. There's a chance of Tuesday evening storm could keep us in the "clear."
NEXT: Next storm headliner arrives late Wednesday into Thursday with similar weather pattern to our storm last night. Snow late Wednesday, into overnight, then early morning hours Thursday, mixing and rain shower ending possible. A brief break and then again something brewing for the weekend.
TODAY & TONIGHT: Thankfully quiet with partial sunshine. Highs near 34. Overnight lows near 19.
TUESDAY: STORM WATCH PM Sun and clouds come back, and snowflakes return to southern Westchester and Rockland counties., but its low impact and accumulations stay under ½ inch to an inch at best. Highs near 33. Overnight lows near 24.
WEDNESDAY: STORM WATCH PM Quiet start with clouds and snow approaches in the evening, close to 7-8 p.m. into Thursday morning. Highs near 32. Overnight lows near 28.
THURSDAY: STORM WATCH AM As storm continues, wintery mixing is possible near sunrise. Light rain showers are also possible. Total snow amounts near 2inches at this time. Slick, possibly shovel-worthy snow Thursday morning, possible morning commute impact. Fine tuning details and accumulations in the coming days. Stay tuned! Highs near 38. Overnight lows near 25.
