Mostly sunny skies are expected through the day with some breezy winds as well at times during the midday hours.

Breezy winds out of the northwest will try and bring some moisture off the Great Lakes towards the Hudson Valley. There may be a brief period of mostly cloudy skies during the midday hours.

Sunny breaks are likely Saturday morning with mostly cloudy skies to come around quickly. Rain heads towards the region after 4 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Rain will fall in batches through Saturday evening and into the overnight hours. Overall, rainfall totals are, on average, 0.5 inches.

Rain will taper off early Sunday morning with temperatures at seasonal levels. A cold front will pass by, bringing gusty winds and scattered batches of clouds for Sunday afternoon.

Monday is gusty and cool, with temps into the mid-40s.
