STORM WATCH: Heavy downpours Tuesday into Wednesday

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Rich Von Ohlen says the Hudson Valley will see heavy downpours Tuesday night heading into Wednesday.

Storm Watch Team Meteorologist Rich Von Ohlen says the Hudson Valley will see heavy downpours Tuesday night heading into Wednesday.
Tuesday's forecast calls for mostly cloudy skies and passing sprinkles in the afternoon with highs in the mid-50s. The heavier downpours are expected to arrive Tuesday night.
Wednesday will see morning rain and heavy downpours before transitioning to scattered afternoon showers and drizzle under cloudy skies. Temperatures will only reach the low-50s.
Thursday will start of cloudy before showers arrive by midday that will stay throughout the afternoon as temperatures stay in the low-50s.
NEXT: Partly sunny Tuesday.. a little milder.. Soaking rain with heavy downpours overnight Tue into Wed AM. Unsettled into the weekend.

TUESDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few passing sprinkles by afternoon. Steadier rain arrives at night. Hi.....55.
WEDNESDAY: STORM WATCH – Morning rain and heavier downpours, then cloudy with scattered showers and drizzle by afternoon. Hi...... 52.
THURSDAY: WEATHER TO WATCH – Mostly cloudy skies with showers arriving by midday from another system and hanging with us through much of the afternoon. Hi..... 51.
FRIDAY: A few leftover showers, perhaps some sunny breaks by midday. Hi......61.
SAT/SUN: Mostly cloudy, breezy and cool with a chance of showers both days. Highs in the low 50s and lows in the low 40s.
