News 12 Storm Watch Team meteorologist Addison Green is tracking a storm that will bring heavy downpours to the Hudson Valley Thursday.
THURSDAY: STORM WATCH (PM) – Cloudy skies with drizzle and fog in the morning. Then we get steadier showers arriving before noon and lasting through the rest of the day. Batches of moderate to heavy rain move in for the evening hours. A few (non-severe) thunderstorms are possible for the evening hours; generally between 5pm and 10pm. Highs around 50. Lows near 45.
FORECAST:
FRIDAY: A mix of sun and clouds with an isolated stray shower (mainly for the morning commute). Highs around 61. Lows around 43.
SATURDAY: Mostly cloudy with a few showers during the midday to afternoon hours. Highs around 56. Lows around 40.
SUNDAY: PALM SUNDAY -- Partly sunny & breezy at times. Highs around 55. Lows around 39.
NEXT WEEK: WARMING UP - Highs in the upper 60's to low 70s to start the week with mostly fair conditions. Showers don't return until Passover/Good Friday next week.
