A powerful storm barreled through the village of Pleasantville Tuesday evening.
Resident Sonia Fujimori said she is in survival mode, with no electricity for lights or to power the pump that supplies her well water.
She said splintered tree limbs are scattered across her lawn.
"I heard a loud boom, but it was so dark I couldn't tell what it was, but apparently it was this tree and big tree branch that came down," she said.
Con Edison was on the scene working to restore electrical power to affected customers.
